Somatic exercises are slow and gentle and suitable for all ages and physical abilities. They are designed to relieve pain and improve your posture by retraining your nervous system.  They are calming and mindful and can also help improve sleep and your mental health.

What to expect in a session?

Whatever your age, health or flexibility somatic movements can be helpful

Most somatic movements are undertaken laying on a carpet or mat but can also be performed sitting in a chair.  You will be taught how to contract muscles in a specific way that will retrain your nervous system to be aware of and release muscle tension.
